It shows up as the privately burning question about desire that has never had an honest or safe container. As the relationship with pornography that many men would rather not admit to let alone examine too closely. As the specific terror of not being enough — in bed, in the boardroom, in any room where measurement might happen. As the scorecard that runs in the background of almost every male relationship, vigilantly taking inventory.
Opening the container. An introduction to the territory and to each other. Desire as the first honest inquiry — not what a man is supposed to want, but what, in the quiet honesty of his body, he actually does. No prior experience required. Arrive as you are.
The private relationship with pornography — examined without shame and without moralizing. What it gives, what it costs, and what it reveals about what a man is genuinely hungry for. The container for this session is held with particular care.
Performance anxiety as more than a sexual phenomenon. The experience of living as though every room is an audition. Where this lives in the body, what it is actually defending against, and what the breath discovers when it is allowed to move through rather than around the fear.
The invisible inventory that runs in the background of most male relationships. Its evolutionary roots, its cost in genuine connection, and what becomes available when competition relaxes into something rarer and more demanding.
The integrated version: what it means to be genuinely alive in desire, honest about drive, and in conscious relationship with the fire rather than alternately suppressing and surrendering to it. The week that makes the previous four worthwhile.
Integration of the six-week journey and the specific recognition of what has shifted — not toward resolution, but toward a different and more honest quality of relationship with what burns.
It doesn’t moralize. It doesn’t arrive with conclusions already assembled. It creates the conditions in which the privately burning questions can finally be examined honestly, in the company of other men who are doing the same.
It doesn’t pathologize desire or competition or the relationship with pornography. It approaches all of it as territory that deserves genuine examination rather than management — holding the complexity that these fires contain both what is most alive in a man and what can consume him when carried without discernment, wisdom, or good company.
It approaches the territory somatically — through the body, through the breath — because the fire is not only a cognitive phenomenon. It lives in the body. It moves through the body. It responds to the body’s intelligence in ways that thinking and talking alone cannot fully reach.
Everything shared in this container stays in this container. The agreements are co-created in the first session and held by every participant for the full six weeks. This is not a place where what you bring will follow you out the door.
It is led by someone who has been in these territories himself — not from a curriculum downloaded, but from a very human life fluctuating between struggles and creative growth and all the distractions and genuine interior work in-between. And from years of accompanying humans through territories such as these as we all learn that we do not need to do this alone.
Nūma Breathwork is a trauma-informed breathwork practice and training organization founded by Trevor Wyllthawk, alongside the Nūma Mystery School. Nūma offers diverse breathwork and therapeutic practices, facilitator training, and men’s work rooted in Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, somatic breathwork, transpersonal psychology, and ceremonial work.
The Unfinished Man is Nūma’s new evolution on men’s curriculum — six online series, each one complete in itself, built from the direct experience working with men in rich somatic containers.
“Trevor brings a skilled touch and immense presence to every aspect of his healing practices. I leave sessions with him feeling rejuvenated, more connected to myself and to my surroundings, and empowered to let my body’s natural healing abilities flourish. He acts as a guide in the truest sense of the word, helping you cut through the internal noise and creating the space for both physical and emotional healing to occur.”
“The online sessions have surprised me with the level of intimacy and relevancy... Trevor has a way of holding everyone in his presence, allowing them to share their knowledge and leverage their own experience, and has a way of delivering new crucial insightful information in a masterful way. I feel forever deeply grateful to have met this wonderful person and to benefit from his hard work of integrating many worlds to bring a new way of healing and growth forward into the world.”
A six-week online journey combining somatic breathwork with two distinct practices of relational repair — one for working with the judgments and resentments we carry about others, and one for practicing the art of offering (and receiving) genuine repair when an apology is what's needed.
This isn't conflict resolution theory. It's an embodied, breath-supported container where you'll take the haunting echoes of your relationship challenges and hurts and learn to creatively work the residual energies and beliefs in transformative ways that may bring unexpected resolutions.
We open in circle. Settling into the group, into the container, into what’s possible over these six weeks. An introduction to the practices ahead, and our first breathwork journey together — beginning to feel, in the body, what it means to turn toward rather than away.
A guided inquiry practice, drawing on a weave of Byron Katie’s inquiry practice The Work and parts-work (IFS), for sitting with a judgment or belief you’ve been carrying — about someone close to you, someone you barely know, or someone — even Life, or God — you’ve never met at all. Rather than arguing yourself out of the judgment, you’ll get curious about it — where it lives, what it’s protecting, and what becomes possible underneath it. Whatever surfaces gets carried directly into breathwork for metabolization each week.
A different kind of relational work, inspired by Primary Attachment Therapy: what happens when what you’re longing for is an apology. You’ll work with a practice partner who listens deeply, learns what you’ve been carrying, and then offers you the repair you’ve been longing for — part rehearsal, part genuine experience of being met. The breathwork continues to serve as a catalyst for insight and metabolizing of whatever arises during the partner practices.
We come back together to reflect on what six weeks of this work has surfaced. We’ll talk honestly about the possibility of taking any of this into real amends with the people in your life — an invitation, never a requirement — and close with one final breathwork journey and time to integrate.
No previous breathwork, The Work, or IFS experience required — just a willingness to bring the aching echoes of your real relationships you’re ready to work with into the room. And a willingness to vulnerably communicate and explore together, with other kind, compassionate humans as you cultivate even deeper capacities for healthy relationships. A private space where you can breathe, move, and speak freely for two hours each week. An open mind about what “repair” can look like when it’s practiced rather than just hoped for.
Trevor Wyllthawk’s love for this work emerged from 29 years exploring himself, relationships, Reality, and the art of waking up — sparked by teenage curiosity that never settled for “that’s just how things are.” He’s fascinated by how our inner and outer worlds dance together, creating reality.
He loves working with clients like you because he knows what it’s like to feel stuck and hunger for something more alive. And to share in it with other good humans. Whether you’re healing old wounds, turning toward creative aspirations, or simply curious about conscious breathing, he brings extensive training and the heart of someone who’s walked the messy, beautiful path of transformation. Together, you’ll explore what wants to emerge when your system gets permission to heal, play, and connect deeply with other messy and magical humans.
